The Scout Association of Japan's Tokyo Council and the Boy Scouts of America's Greater LA Scouting Council

Japan and the United States have fostered a robust Scout exchange program since 2016, aiming to cultivate amicable relationships. In a concerted effort to enhance and fortify these enduring bonds of friendship and to foster the development of our Scouts as global citizens, the Greater LA Scouting Council and the Tokyo Council formally establish a Friendship Alliance between our respective councils.

Both Councils and their members are committed to collaborating diligently, promoting activities that contribute to the overarching objective of world peace. Leveraging Scout exchanges anchored in culture, art, and education, we aspire to continually advance and deepen our mutual understanding and cooperation.

This agreement has been meticulously crafted in both English and Japanese to underscore the equality and inclusivity inherent in our collaboration.
