Dear Scouters:
Please join us at the Council Quarterly Strategic Planning Meeting on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, at Cushman Watt Scout Center.
Our last QSP meeting of the year will continue some of the discussion themes from our previous meeting, give us a chance to reflect on what we have accomplished this year, and set the stage for next year. Our morning will include fast-paced presentations reviewing some of this year’s core objectives and laying out our goals for next year. We will take a deeper dive into the topics of Diversity Recruiting and Using Social Media. The meeting will conclude with a discussion of how we can better integrate multiple calendars, which will include a group discussion to create an early draft of a master calendar for 2025. This will be an important discussion, and we want all districts to provide us with their 2025 activity dates before the meeting.
Following the meeting is a complimentary lunch during which you can network with staff and volunteers. This time is great for sharing ideas across districts. All district leaders, district committee members, unit and district commissioners, council committee and board members, and adult volunteers are encouraged to attend.
