The Annual Scout Shabbat is celebrated annually in honor of the founding of the Boy Scouts of America on February 8, 1916. Join us as we mark Scouting’s 108th anniversary with Scout Shabbat Services. The National Jewish Committee on Scouting (NJCOS) encourages all Jewish Scouts to take pride in their faith by holding a Scout Shabbat service for their unit, district, or council. Since 2015, the San Gabriel Valley District Boy Scout Religious Committee has organized a special celebration each year.
