Camping at Firestone
This camp is located just east of State Route 57 in Tonner Canyon between Diamond Bar and Brea, California. The facilities are available to most non-profit youth groups in addition to Scouting organizations. When you camp at Firestone you are well on your way to giving your Scouting experience a big jump! We are here to provide you with an additional program that compliments your agenda for the weekend you choose to join us. Whether it is a compass course you need or a .22 you want to shoot, we are here for you. Simply place your reservation, indicate what you would like to do, and we will add to your program with excited scouts and Scouters ready to share their knowledge and skills with your youth. So, Come on down to Firestone. With miles of scenic campsites, Firestone is a great venue for Packs, Troops, and even large 1000+ person groups.
With multiple ranges in all shooting disciplines, Firestone is a hub for Shooting Sports training & program activities. Whether you want to set up a shooting sports activity for your scout group, join a youth shooting sports program, or earn firearms instructor credentials, Firestone’s expert Staff can provide you with state-of-the-art training. We are welcoming Cub Scouts and their families to shoot rockets into space and enjoy the many fun games available for the weekend. Cub Scouts will be able to participate in the fun games all day, ending the night under the stars with a movie! Come have an out-of-this-world experience and help us reach new heights.
Join us for a SPOOKtacular time here in Monster Land, where all of the Monster Mash Festivities will take place! This is a Cub Scout-themed event for Cub Scouts and their families to have some Halloween fun! All Cub Scouts will have to opportunity to dress up in a costume, go trick or treating, and watch a movie!
Have you ever asked yourself how many times you can destroy a leftover Halloween pumpkin? Like shoot one with an arrow! Blast one with a shotgun! Split one with a tomahawk! Bust one with a baseball bat! And SO MUCH more! This is an all-weekend camping event for Scouts and their families. All chefs will have to opportunity to participate in a scored pumpkin cook-off as well!
