Welcome to the Rose Bowl District
The Rose Bowl District takes great pride in its service to the vibrant communities of Altadena, La Canada Flintridge, Pasadena, South Pasadena, and San Marino.
Our District is a hub of diverse outdoor activities, embracing everything from camping and hiking to cycling, backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding, and a variety of water sports. We even offer a specialized Venture surfing program and Sea Scout ship for those with a passion for aquatic adventures. Through engaging and enjoyable activities, Scouts in our district immerse themselves in experiences that foster camaraderie, teamwork, and the development of essential leadership skills.
At the heart of our mission is the vision of equipping these Scouts with vital skills and values. Our goal is to empower them to seamlessly integrate into our communities as compassionate citizens and future leaders.

Friends of Scouting Annual Giving Campaign
Investing in the Future of Scouting
The Friends of Scouting (FOS) campaign is an investment beyond national membership fees and basic registration, which cover only a fraction of Scouting’s costs. Without your support, our council’s infrastructure, programs, and volunteer training are at risk, potentially leading to camp closures and fewer opportunities for Scouts.
Your contribution helps to:
- Keep camp fees affordable for all families
- Strengthen council infrastructure to support local units
- Maintain and improve camp properties for outdoor adventures
- Enhance volunteer training to ensure a high-quality program
- Fund camperships and Scoutreach, providing opportunities for all youth
Your generosity ensures Scouting remains strong and accessible in our community.
