Welcome to the Pacifica District

    We proudly serve the vibrant Southern California communities of El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Gardena, Carson, Wilmington, Lomita, Harbor City, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates, and San Pedro.

    Our annual calendar is filled with exciting events, including a Camporee in the Spring, a Cub Day Camp during the Summer, a Webelos event in the Fall, District Pinewood Derby, Soapbox Derby, Volunteer Service Projects, Hiking and Backpacking Training, and engaging Sea Scout Activities.

    The Pacifica District is committed to providing a comprehensive youth program focused on character development and values-based leadership training. Our mission is to help young people become “Prepared. For Life.” The District comprises dedicated youth members aged 5 to 21 and passionate volunteers who contribute to the well-being of our communities.

    District Award of Merit Nominations Due March 13

    Please help us recognize Scouters who are going above and beyond for our district! Recipients will be honored at our banquet on April 16.     The Friends of Scouting (FOS) campaign is an investment beyond national membership fees and basic registration, which cover only a fraction of Scouting’s costs. Without your support, our council’s infrastructure, programs, and volunteer training are at risk, potentially leading to camp closures and fewer opportunities for Scouts.
