As a [resident of _____/stakeholder with ______] I am writing to offer my full and enthusiastic support for the negotiation of a long-term lease agreement between the Port of Los Angeles and Greater LA Scouting for the Cabrillo Beach Youth Center at 3000 Shoshonean Road in San Pedro, California.
This waterfront youth-serving facility has been home to the scouting and local community for over seventy-eight (78) years. What an incredible history! Life skills, citizenship, personal fitness, and strong character have been developed, innumerable relationships have been forged, and special family memories have been made. In particular, the underserved youth of Los Angeles need places like this where transformative experiences will shape their lives and minds as they approach adulthood.
For the dedicated staff and volunteers to keep doing amazing things in the local community and Greater Los Angeles area, please extend your support to the Cabrillo Beach Youth Center with a new lease!
